Studio 1224 was built from a simple idea to create a space where movement and community come together.
We’re Connie and Lorenzo, and we share a passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and build confidence through training.
Connie comes from a lifelong background in dance, having competed nationally and internationally in Ballroom and Latin, alongside training in contemporary, modern, jazz, ballet, and Pilates. Her experience has shaped a deep understanding of movement, control, and how the body performs.
She is also currently completing a PhD focused on how strength training can improve quality of life for children with Cerebral Palsy, something that reflects our wider belief that movement has the power to genuinely change lives.
Lorenzo is a serial entrepreneur with over 11 years of experience building gyms, coaching clients, and developing strength programmes — with a particular focus on helping women build confidence, strength, and long-term habits.
With over 15 years in the fitness industry, he has dedicated his career to helping people move better and improve their quality of life, working with thousands of individuals along the way.
At Studio 1224, we believe Reformer Pilates should be taught with purpose. There’s no need to overcomplicate it, done well, it should help you build strength, reduce injury risk, recover better, and move well in everyday life.
This isn’t just a place to work out. It’s a space where you’ll be coached, supported, and part of something.

What We Do

We’re on a mission to make an impact, helping more and more people discover the benefits of Pilates from improved strength and posture to a clearer mind and better body awareness.
