At Studio 1224, there are three simple ways to get started depending on your experience and goals.
If you’re new to reformer, our beginner sessions (running at least once a month) are the best place to build confidence and learn the foundations.
If you’re looking to create a consistent routine and see real progress, our memberships offer structured, ongoing practice with priority access to classes. You are able to book a 20 minute taster session or starter pass before any further commitment.
Alternatively, if you’re not sure if Pilates is for you, our Starter Pass is a great way to try the studio, experience our coaching, and get a feel for everything before deciding what’s right for you.
Taster Session
Experience Studio 1224 with our Reformer Pilates Taster Session. Designed for those who already have some reformer experience or are looking to experience the studio before joining, this 20 minute guided session gives you the opportunity to experience our coaching style, atmosphere, and community in a supportive small-group environment.

If you are completely new to reformer Pilates, we would recommend starting with our Beginner Starter Pass to help you properly understand the reformer and build confidence before joining regular classes.
Beginner Starter Pass
This is a true introduction to Reformer Pilates designed specifically for complete beginners who have never used the machines before.
You’ll learn how to confidently set up and adjust the Reformer, understand spring settings, and get comfortable moving on the bed safely and effectively. Across the session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the fundamentals, how to get on and off the Reformer, how different springs change resistance, and how to control the carriage with precision.
We’ll start with simple movement patterns and gradually build them into basic combinations so you can begin to flow with control and confidence. This is a small group learning environment, so you’ll be surrounded by others who are also new to Reformer Pilates.
The focus is on education, familiarity, and building a strong foundation before progressing into full Reformer classes. Perfect for anyone who wants to feel comfortable, informed, and confident before joining regular Reformer sessions.

Starter Pass
The Starter Pass is designed for those new to our studio.
It gives you the opportunity to experience our coaching, small-group environment, and premium studio atmosphere before committing to a membership.
With just six people per class, you’ll receive focused guidance, clear instruction, and the attention you need to feel confident from your very first session.

We understand that life requires flexibility, so we also offer a few additional ways to train with us.
You can book a single session if you’d like to drop in, or choose a flex pack if you’re travelling, have a changing schedule, or simply want more flexibility before committing to a membership.
If you’d prefer a more personalised start, we also offer 1:1 sessions. This is ideal for learning the reformer at your own pace, building confidence, or working around specific needs.
